Meet Karen
Dr Karen Hughes is the author of the Kalika Magic series, five fantasy adventures for readers aged 8 to 14 about courage, friendship, and an ancient magic tied to the land. Karen grew up on a cattle station on the Liverpool Plains, where she spent her childhood climbing trees, building cubby houses beside the creek, and reading Narnia books.
