High School Club on Zoom

So, you've discovered that you love writing stories, poems, graphic novels, plays and movie scripts, essays, newspaper articles ... whatever makes your heart sing ... and you're wondering what to do next? Why not join Karen for a weekly hangout on Zoom and take your writing even further. For kids aged 12-15 who really love to write.

We meet on Zoom for a one hour session at 5pm every Monday during term. Participants are invited to submit their stories for publication on the website and in our annual paperback anthology.

REGISTRATION

Please email your child's name and age to us, and complete your payment below to confirm their enrolment.

Term One Zoom workshops begin on Monday 5 February.

Participants are also invited to join Karen at our Maitland studio for 2 x casual writing sessions on Sunday 11 February and Sunday 10 March from 4pm-5pm. These sessions will be a chance to read aloud and chat about our work-in-progress.

Payment of $250 per term is due prior to the commencement of each term. Please pay as soon as possible using our secure payment button to confirm your child's place.

Your payment includes eight (8) hours of small group tuition and publication in our annual anthology. Our published authors will receive a digital copy of our annual book of stories.

HUNTER VALLEY WRITERS

Hunter Valley Writers is a trading name of Anketangl Pty Ltd. All services will be provided by Anketangl Pty Ltd and its agents. 

FEE STRUCTURE

We do not accept enrolments without full payment.

Term fees are due and to be paid in full before the commencement of each term. 

There are no refunds for missed sessions. All fees are non-refundable. 

If fees are not paid by the due date your child will not be able to participate in further sessions until all outstanding fees are paid.

ATTENDANCE

Please let us know if your child is going to be absent from any session. 

STUDENT SAFETY

We reserve the right to make archival photographic and/or visual recordings of our sessions for use in our marketing publications, including on our website and social media pages. 

All of our students have the right to feel safe to express themselves in our sessions without fear of ridicule, bullying behaviour or physical harm. If any student is in breach of this expectation, we have the authority to exclude them indefinitely without a refund.

CONFIRMATION AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By submitting your payment you are stating that you understand, acknowledge and agree with these terms and conditions.

Failing to adhere to these terms and conditions means you could be in breach of your enrolment agreement. This could result in a forfeit of your child’s position in any subsequent sessions.
