THUD! CRASH!
Violet bolted to the forest and the chattering animals darted through the toppled trees. When Violet finally reached the forest, she stood behind the red tape staring at the huge machines. She cautiously ducked under the red tape and tiptoed towards a bush. Violet couldn’t let them keep cutting the trees, so she quietly snuck over to the workers’ tent to see if she could find anything.
She kept looking and looking with no sight of anything when she heard something … A macaw with bright blue wings fluttered into the tent, perching on the chair, and a ring-tail lemur came scurrying in, jumping on the table. Violet was so glad it was them or she would have been in real trouble! She asked Mac the Macaw and Loops the Lemur to help her find something. Mac and Loops agreed to help and began searching. Suddenly Violet heard some shouting from a box near the entrance!
When she got there, she opened the box to see Loops sitting inside, holding a rolled-up piece of paper. They all went to the table and unrolled the piece of paper. On the paper was a design for a massive park. Violet and the animals couldn’t let them turn the forest into a park! She had to think of a plan to stop this happening. She gathered Mac and Loops so they could decide on a plan together.

After a long conversation, Mac, Loops and Violet finally came up with a plan. Violet told Mac and Loops the plan once more and then said, “Go and warn all the animals in the forest.”
Off Mac fluttered, with Loops scampering behind him. Mac and Loops went and told all the animals in the forest and then headed back to the forest where Violet was hiding. When they came back, Violet asked them if they were ready.
As the workers were about to cut down a tree, they felt a vibration beneath their feet as if a whole army was coming. But when they looked up, a whole crowd of animals were staring at them.
The workers took a terrified step back. Suddenly, all the animals started charging at them. The workers started racing to their vehicles and driving away. The animals were going crazy scaring the workers away.

After all the workers had left, Violet came out of the tent and congratulated the animals for scaring the workers away. Violet wondered if the workers would come back and what would happen next?
